All you have to do is get a basketball and be about 25 to 30 feet away from the basket.
Once you get to that mark, you just throw the ball toward the hoop to where the ball can get at least 2 to 4 bounces.
Then, you run after the ball from the mark you are standing at and try catch the ball for a dunk or layup.

by Hal Wissel
(USA and Worldwide)
Speed Dribble Lay-up
This is a challenging lay-up drill. You will alternate shooting strong and weak hand lay-ups, speed and reverse dribbles.
The drill consists of alternately driving from each elbow and shooting lay-ups with your right hand when dribbling right and your left hand when dribbling left. Start at the right elbow in a balanced stance with your left foot forward and right foot back.
Drive to the basket using a speed dribble with your right hand and shoot a right-handed lay-up. Catch the ball with two hands and speed dribble out to the left elbow, pulling the ball back toward the basket with your right hand.
Drive to the basket using a speed dribble with your left hand and shoot a left-hand lay-up. Catch the ball with two hands and speed dribble to the right elbow, using your left hand. Place your right foot on the elbow and reverse dribble, pulling the ball back toward the basket with your left hand.
Continue the drill for 30 seconds, alternately driving and shooting lay-ups on each side of the basket.
Record the number of lay-ups made in 30 seconds.

3 Pass Drill
by Coach Randy Brown
(Iowa, USA)
3 Pass Drill
The 3 pass no dribble drill works on spacing, hard cutting, getting open, screening, triple threat, running through the ball to catch, and passing.
All of these skills are developed and improved in this drill because the dribble is not allowed. Excessive dribbling is a common fault of many players and teams.
Please see attached diagram above.

Use each finger of your hand to dribble the basketball at a time.
Once you have dribbled with your pinky, index, ring, middle, and thumb fingers that would count as one.
Do with each hand 100 times. Once you have gotten good you should be able to do it 500 times without your fingers cramping up!!!
